Description of the role :
- Analyze test specifications and standards to build and develop validation methodology for abusive testing.
- Work closely with cell development leaders to meet requirements of different projects according to project timelines.
- Work actively with testing team to provide tests procedures and provide deadlines with respect to the development schedule.
- Report continuously the validation status in the scope of the project development.
- Follow and provide deep analysis the test results of abusive tests.
- Analyze and report failure root cause analysis of cell and suggest design/process improvements putting into perspective DFMEA and PFMEA.
- Perform DOEs and run experiments in collaboration with battery scientists and test engineers, for advanced characterization and validation.
Prerequisites :
- MSC or PhD in materials science or electrochemistry or electronic with an experience in the battery field.
- Li-ion cell and/or module abuse testing (environmental, mechanical, electrical)
- DFMEA, root-cause analysis (8D report)

· Knowledge in standard analysis and normalization is a plus.
