As an Operations Associate at UnitX, you will own the day-to-day office, lab, and shipping operations that keep our team building without friction. You'll work closely with our Business Operations Specialist and partner across Hardware, Engineering, and Customer Success to make sure the physical side of a fast-moving robotics company runs smoothly.
What You'll Do:
Office & Facilities: Own day to day office operations, including but not limited to, office supply inventory, vendor coordination, mail handling, office organization, and 5S standards. You're the reason the space runs smoothly.
AV & IT Support: Own conference room AV setup, troubleshoot connectivity issues across multiple types of devices and equipment, set up new employee workstations, and escalate complex IT issues to the appropriate team or vendor.
Shipping & Receiving: Manage outbound shipments end-to-end by packing, labeling, carrier coordination, and tracking. Receive and inspect incoming shipments, route to the correct teams, and maintain accurate shipping logs.
Quality Checks: Ensure all products shipped & received pass a quality check in accordance with company standards.
Lab Support: Assist Hardware and Engineering teams with computer setup, equipment mounting, fixture building, occasional soldering, and basic electronic assembly. Maintain lab cleanliness and track inventory.
Ad-Hoc Support: Be the team's go-to — whether it's moving equipment, prepping for events, reorganizing spaces, or whatever else comes up, you handle it fast and without friction.
Who You Are:
Self-starter who sees what needs to be done and does it without being asked.
You work with urgency and take pride in getting things done ahead of schedule.
