Every year, $6.1B dollar worth of products (think EV batteries) go through UnitX AI inspection system to ensure quality.

We’re looking for a Sales Manager who’s both a hands-on seller and a proven leader, someone who thrives in the field, drives results, and elevates a high-performing team. AI is completely changing the manufacturing industry and we are at the forefront of this change. This is a huge opportunity for personal growth and growth within UnitX as we continue to make an impact on this industry. You will report directly to the CEO in continuing our sales efforts.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and mentor a team of sales reps, providing active deal coaching, performance management, and development plans.

  • Own and exceed your personal quota, managing full-cycle deals from prospecting to close.

  • Conduct onsite visits and demos (approx. 30% travel) to build customer trust and close complex industrial deals.

  • Build and refine outbound strategies, account segmentation, and regional coverage models.

  • Establish predictable forecasting and reporting using HubSpot and sales analytics.

  • Partner with leadership to define compensation, quota design, and team structure as the sales org scales.

  • Model a high-activity, high-accountability culture. Leading by example in outbound execution, deal hygiene, and customer engagement.

  • Contribute to defining and improving sales playbooks, messaging, and go-to-market strategy.

Who You Are:

  • 6+ years of B2B sales experience, with 2+ years in leadership or team lead roles.

  • Proven track record of success in technical, industrial, or automation sales.

  • Confident communicator and motivator. Able to build trust with engineers and execs alike.

  • Data-driven operator who uses CRM metrics and dashboards to drive accountability.

  • Strong organizational discipline with a bias toward action and closing.

  • Passion for AI, robotics, and building from the ground up in a fast-paced environment.
