THE OPPORTUNITY

Looking for an exciting, hands-on experience in real-world mobile app development? As an intern, you may work on projects such as building NodeJS-based RESTful APIs on AWS Lambda to support integrations for your school’s mobile app. Modo Labs is offering a paid summer internship for college students ready to dive into the future of digital engagement!

• Program Dates: June 22 – July 31, 2026 (6 weeks). Applicants must be able to commit to the full program duration.
• Application Deadline: February 28, 2026
• Pay: $17/hour | 40 hours/week for 6 weeks
• Remote Position: Work from anywhere in the continental U.S.

You’ll gain exposure to cutting-edge digital campus experiences used by 300+ institutions worldwide. Intern tasks may include development, tech support, research, app analysis, prototype implementation, and more, including opportunities to learn the inner workings of your own Modo-powered campus app.

OUR WISH LIST

• Must be a currently enrolled student at a college or university in a Computer Science or Computer Engineering program with an interest in mobile applications.
• Experience with NodeJS, Express, and AWS Lambda a plus
• Must be a current user of your University’s mobile app and familiar with the functionality.
• Interest in UI/UX Design a plus.
• Comfortable and able to work remotely.
• Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
