Full job description
Strategic Account Manager: Thermal Management Hardware
Fabric8Labs is pioneering the first electrochemical additive manufacturing (ECAM) platform. By combining advanced display hardware with electroplating technology and powerful software, we drive high-resolution, high-quality metal deposition. Our proprietary technology creates fine-featured metal components that are simply not possible with conventional or other additive manufacturing (AM) techniques. We are changing the electronics industry, and we need leaders ready to commercialize ECAM for high-performance applications.
As the Strategic Account Manager for Thermal Management Hardware, you will lead our growth efforts with top-tier users and suppliers in the Data Center Infrastructure and liquid cooling markets. This is a fast-paced, intellectually challenging position where you will bridge the gap between big-picture industry trends and tactical customer projects. You will interact heavily with engineers, commercial partners, and researchers to successfully commercialize ECAM-enabled products.
Key Responsibilities (Note: This role is an individual contributor position and does not have direct reports.)
- Account Leadership: Develop and manage a portfolio of strategic accounts within the liquid cooling ecosystem to drive sales and profitability in the Data Center Infrastructure market.
- Commercial Champion: Serve as the primary advocate for Fabric8Labs at select cloud service providers and semiconductor companies, demonstrating ECAM's distinct performance and economic advantages.
- Customer Collaboration: Partner closely with customers to understand value propositions, define performance targets, and establish product requirements for high-performing data center cooling solutions.
- Cross-Functional Guidance: Act as the voice of the customer internally, providing market insights to guide product management, applications engineering, R&D, and operations teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: 5-10+ years in the electronics industry in strategic sales, field applications engineering, and/or business development.
- Industry Expertise: A successful track record of developing and launching products within the data center cooling hardware value chain.
- Network: An extensive network of industry contacts (suppliers, customers, competitors) in the Data Center Infrastructure market.
- Core Skills: Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Demonstrated program management, strategic leadership, and excellent communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: BS (or advanced degree) in Science and/or Engineering is highly preferred. MBA is a plus.
- Experience with multilevel selling strategies across the electronics value chain.
- Previous experience thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.
Why Work at Fabric8Labs?
- Comprehensive Benefits: Includes equity compensation, health, dental, and vision plans, a 401(k) with employer match, and an unmetered vacation policy.
- Culture: A collaborative work environment with tight-knit teams focused on transforming manufacturing technology. Regular catered company events, celebrations, and a fully stocked breakroom.
- Compensation: Pay range for this role starts at $125,000 and is commensurate with experience.
Logistics & Physical Requirements
- Work Model: This position is 100% in-person and requires working on-site at our facility.
- Travel: Up to 25-30% domestic and/or international travel, dependent on business needs.
- Physical Demands: Routinely required to sit, walk, talk, hear, use hands/fingers, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and adjust focus (close/color/peripheral vision and depth perception). Occasionally required to move around the facility and lift/move up to 20 pounds.
