As a 3D Printer Operator, you’ll be running internally designed 3D Printers and support equipment necessary to run the 3D printers. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for enabling the production of parts using technology that does not exist elsewhere in the world. You should enjoy operating equipment and be comfortable learning new concepts quickly.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Learn and quickly become an expert in operating Fabric8Labs' patented electrochemical additive manufacturing (ECAM) printers
• Operate and monitor ECAM printers, and report issues as they arise
• Provide input and feedback on how to improve printing operations
• Follow procedures and work instructions as written

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience operating industrial equipment in a hands-on environment
• Passionate about learning and operating machinery at a high level
• Comfortable being trained on new processes and software
• Excellent communication
• Detail-oriented, ability to accurately execute precision steps
• A willingness to continue to learn

Essential functions include

• The ability to regularly lift and carry items that weigh 20 lbs and push carts over smooth terrain
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
• The ability to comfortably operate a touch screen located ~4' above the ground
• The ability to operate an air nozzle and squeeze a squirt bottle
• The ability to stand for hours at a time

Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications. The expected salary range for this role is $21 to $25 hourly.
