Job Summary
Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor daily cash positions and report on cash balances across global bank accounts.
Prepare short- and long-term cash flow forecasts and variance analysis.
Manage bank account administration, including opening/closing accounts, maintaining signatories, and ensuring proper documentation.
Review and approve corporate card requests; perform monthly reporting on card exposure and recommend changes to individual and departmental card limits based on usage and policy compliance.
Assist in executing domestic and international payments and ensure timely settlement of transactions.
Assist with debt management, including interest payments, loan agreements, and covenant compliance.
Analyze and recommend strategies for optimizing working capital.
Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate and maintain relationships with internal departments and external financial institutions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Demonstrated knowledge of cash management principles, financial markets, and banking practices.
Proven ability to perform financial analysis and produce clear, accurate reporting for senior stakeholders.
Sound understanding of financial risk management frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Collaborative and effective communicator, able to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable treasury insights and recommendations.
Required Education and Experience
Post-secondary or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
2+ years of experience in a treasury, finance, or accounting role.
Preferred Education and Experience
Experience in a multinational or large corporate environment.
Professional designation (CPA, CFA, or CTP) is an asset.
