The Role

As a Utility Arborist Specialist at AiDASH, you are a trusted advisor to customers and internal teams alike. You bring deep domain understanding of vegetation management and utility practices. You work to validate and improve the accuracy and quality of insights in our platform, and you enable our customers’ success through end-user training and technical support.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Lead field validations with utility customers to verify vegetation and asset classifications, condition assessments, and other analytics outputs against ground truth
• Collaborate directly with a wide range of customer stakeholders (foresters, engineers, operations leaders) to interpret results, gather feedback, and operationalize insights
• Translate field and customer insights into clear guidance for Data Science, Product, and other teams to improve models and workflows
• Develop and maintain consultative, reusable assets such as training materials, playbooks, and case studies that enable repeatable customer success
• Support customer onboarding, adoption, and optimization efforts by connecting AiDash outputs to real utility workflows and operational decisions
• Participate in customer support coverage, triaging and resolving complex and high-impact issues
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and internal teams, especially during escalations, field work, and content delivery
• Operate with high ownership in unstructured environments: setting direction, removing blockers, and delivering high-quality outcomes independently

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum of 4 years of proven experience working with electric utilities
• Deep experience in electric utility operations for vegetation management and other maintenance program field work and regulatory requirements
• Comfort working with various geospatial tools, data outputs, and inspection systems (GIS experience preferred)
• Ability to synthesize technical findings into clear, customer-ready narratives and recommendations
• Proven track record of ownership, judgment, and follow-through in ambiguous or fast-moving environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to technical and non-technical audiences
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 80%, including internationally for field validations, customer meetings, and onsite engagements
• ISA Certified Arborist required; Utility Specialist, TRAQ, or similar certifications preferred

We offer a competitive annual pay range of $80,000 to $110,000 for this full-time position, which includes a base salary and an annual performance-based bonus. This range reflects the anticipated annual salary for new hires. In addition to base salary and bonus, this role also offers equity compensation as part of our commitment to shared success.
