The Role:
AiDASH is looking for a seasoned Principal Engineer to lead the design and architecture roadmap for all the key product lines. Reporting directly into the Co-founder, and Chief Product & Technology Officer, as a Principal Engineer, you will demonstrate deep knowledge in application architecture and will act as a Technical Subject Matter Expert for both clients and the engineering teams.
You will assume the role of design and architectural authority across products, ensuring consistent designs and uniformity of development processes across product lines. One of the key focus areas will be to evaluate new technology trends, and create an ecosystem for the engineering organizationto leverage new emerging technologies.
How you'll make an impact:
- Design and architect complex product offerings across all product lines, addressing architectural challenges and ensuring alignment with business needs
- Define and drive the architectural vision and technical strategy, emphasizing scalability, security, and performance
- Provide technical consultation across teams, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and high standards of engineering excellence
- Optimize AWS infrastructure for cost-effective, reliable cloud operations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize technological enhancements and drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies and trends
- Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, clients, and teams on technical matters, balancing short-term needs with long-term goals
- Mentor and guide principal engineers, fostering technical growth and leadership
What we're looking for:
- 10+ years of software development experience with expertise in SaaS architecture, including multi-tenant frameworks, Kubernetes, microservices, Java, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS
- Proven track record of designing scalable cloud applications, driving enterprise-wide technology initiatives, and making informed technology trade-offs
- Skilled in coding, developing POCs, and mentoring architects, with a passion for innovation and emerging technologies
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills, effectively working with clients and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and align decisions with business goals
- Recent experience at a high-growth company,with a track record of driving meaningful outcomes for enterprise customers
- Experience leading architecture or re-architecture initiatives and owning critical backend modules in recent roles
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

We offer a competitive base pay range for this full-time position, which is between $200,000 and $250,000 per year. This range reflects the anticipated base salary for new hires.
