Role –

To drive demand generation and business growth for the Solar Structure category by building strong relationships with EPCs, developers, and installers, identifying new business opportunities, and closing deals while ensuring alignment with supply availability, pricing competitiveness, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities –

  • Build and scale the Solar Structures category (Ground Mount / Tin Shed) by driving consistent demand from EPCs, installers, and solar project developers
  • Identify, engage, and onboard new customers across India including EPC companies, solar installers, project developers, and contractors
  • Generate and qualify new business leads for solar structures through market outreach, industry networks, and partnerships
  • Work closely with the Supply team to align vendor capabilities, pricing, and delivery timelines with customer requirements
  • Understand customer technical requirements and coordinate techno-commercial proposals accordingly
  • Negotiate commercial terms including pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contract conditions with customers
  • Drive deal closures while ensuring market competitive pricing and margin optimization
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Supply, Logistics, Finance) to ensure smooth execution of orders and deliveries
  • Track market demand trends for solar structures, project pipeline activity, and competitor offerings

Key Skills & Competencies –

  • Strong understanding of solar mounting structures, project requirements, and EPC procurement processes
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, demand generation, and deal closures in solar or steel categories
  • Strong commercial acumen with focus on revenue growth and margin management
  • Established network within the solar EPC / developer ecosystem
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functionally with supply, logistics, and finance teams

Minimum Experience –

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in solar, steel, or related infrastructure categories
  • Prior experience working with solar EPCs, installers, or project developers preferred
  • Experience in steel structures or solar mounting structures will be an advantage
